Social Networking

I traditionally have been reluctant to jump on the so-called social networking band wagon. However, Linkedin is such a great tool professionally and I am glad that I have this tool to show-case myself. Personally Facebook is nice to have because I can update my friends and see how they are doing as well. I just started using Twitter and am still getting my footing with it. I believe that it is an educators responsibility to learn these tools and understand these tools. Students today communicate using Facebook, Twitter, ect. If we understand how to use these tools and utilize them correctly we can reach our students in a different way.
